Tiptree

Tiptree

The Wilkin family have been farming at Tiptree, Essex, since 1757, and making quality preserves since 1885. We grow a wide range of traditional English fruits and use them to make conserves, condiments, and other treats in our nut-free factory by the farm. We received our first Royal Warrant from George V in 1911, and remain Royal Warrant holders as purveyors of Tiptree Products to Her Majesty, Queen Elizabeth II. Our products are made to cherished recipes and are free from artificial colours, flavours and preservatives. More recently, we have expanded our portfolio to offer natural English Fruit Juices and Fruit Gin Liqueurs, all made using produce from our farm. Tiptree.com

Walkers

The Walkers story begins in 1898 when the twenty-one year old Joseph Walker opened the doors of his own bakery with the ambition to bake ‘The World’s Finest Shortbread. While some manufacturers began to cut corners by using margarine instead of butter, Joseph believed that people still appreciated the care that went into making a superior product like Walkers shortbread. And he was right. That’s why, even after Joseph Walker died in 1954, his sons knew better than to alter a winningly simple recipe consisting of just four ingredients: flour, sugar, salt and that pure creamery butter. This has been recognised by industry over the years too, with Walkers picking up numerous international accolades including five gold Mondiale medals and the Food from Britain Innovation Award.

Prestat

Prestat

Prestat is among the world’s most exciting luxury chocolate and gift food brands. Established in 1902 by Antoine Dufour as a ‘refreshment room’ in Oxford Street with
a chocolate shop and kitchen in neighbouring South Molton Street. Antoine’s family had created the world’s first recipe for the chocolate truffle in Chambery, France, 1895. Prestat quickly became famous and developed a following among royalty and nobility, stars of the stage and screen, rock idols and writers throughout the 1960s and 1970s. Since March 2019 Prestat has been using single origin Domori couverture, which has pioneered a unique, low impact cocoa beans processing, resulting in fine, aromatic chocolate.’
